Final defence

At the end of the Doctoral course and following admission to the final exam by the Scientific Board or the Doctorate, the PhD student must send the thesis together with a form for review to external evaluators with an anti-plagiarism certificate.

Form for reviewer

External evaluators have 30 days to send their comments on the PhD thesis by filling out the form. If the judgment of the external evaluators is positive, the procedure for the final defence and the appointment of the judging commission can begin. The judging commission must be made up of at least two external members and one from the University of Turin.
The final defence take place within 90 days of the appointment of the Judging Commission.

Instructions for the editing and printing of the PhD thesis

The PhD thesis must be printed (both sides) in a B5 format.
